As you eagerly anticipate gathering with loved ones and feasting on a scrumptious meal on Thanksgiving day, pause to give me heartfelt thanks, for all good gifts come from your Father above.
It brings me such joy to pour out My best for My children and to hear your praises rise like sweet smelling incense. Can I let you in on something, though? As delicious as the tastiest morsel of your favorite dish is, it doesn’t compare to Me.
When you come to the Bread of Life, you will never go hungry. When you drink from the Living Water, you will never stay thirsty.
Taste and see that I am good- all of the time! Enjoy the gifts of earth I have given you with gratitude in your heart, but never yearn for them more than you yearn for Me. Hunger and thirst after Me and be fully satisfied.
My goodness will chase you down all the days of your life. I am your portion. I am good and my steadfast love endures forever!
