Complete Security: God with us

Complete Security: God with us

Matthew 28:18-20 says, "

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Security....what comes to mind when you think about your desire of security being met?  Is it a success status, financial, health, appearance, relationship? One thing we all desire as humans is to feel secure at our inmost being.

As a child of God, you can rest assured that God has a great purpose for you, and has equipped you with everything you need to complete the task.  But before you can GO and serve Him, you must know and believe one very important thing:  God is with you.

It's one common thread among warriors all throughout the Bible and the same can be true for you and me.  Abraham trusted God was with him and moved to a foreign land to step into His inheritance that would bless people for generations to come.   Joshua was given a big bold task to go slay giants and conquer the promised land, but before God sent him, God told him that He would be with him.  And Jesus, before he left this earth, after spending time training his disciples, He gave them a comforting promise that would be the foundation of fulfilling their mission here on earth. "I am with you always."

It's a game changer when you actually put all your faith into that statement.  I can .....fill in the blank, because Jesus is with me.  Nothing too hard or too big can get in the way of God with you.  It brings a comfort and security like none other.  God was with His people then and will be with you too...always.  You can bet your life on it.

Find peace, strength and security in this promise today.  Now GO and do the great work He has given you today, no matter how big or how small!  It matters!
