Fall Into God
"So Abraham called that place The Lord Will Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.” Genesis 22:14
Jehovah Jireh is one of God's many names that reveals His wonderful nature. Abraham called God this when he was given the unthinkable command to sacrifice his only son, the one whom he'd waited 25 years for. Yes, Abraham obeyed God in one of the hardest "asks" that a parent could probably ever respond to. But Abraham knew something about God that we can learn from. Abraham knew God was a good God and was a loving and faithful God. Abraham knew that God would provide a way in what seemed like the worst moment of his life.
Imagine yourself waking up, with the foundation of trusting God will provide naturally and supernaturally in whatever way you need. Yes, I am talking about walking on water type of faith. You can because God's name reveals His nature. And it will never change. He's Jehovah Jireh.
What about if you wake up with fear about any given situation that each day brings? You can fall into the loving arms of your Daddy God and claim His name, Jehovah Shalom, The Lord is my peace.
God has given us a gift of knowing Him better by knowing who He is by His names. I am super excited about the newest collection we are launching later this week that is not only beautiful, but more importantly a tool to fight what you see in the natural and walk by faith in the spirit. Daughter of God, I want you to claim God's name and who He is to you.
This is how I envison myself wearing it....okay, something catches you off guard and overwhelms you....pause, take a deep breath, and call on God my peace, Jehovah Shalom. I would pray, "Lord, I feel very afraid and overwhelmed in this moment, but I know that you are Jehovah Shalom, you are my peace. Bring calm into this situation because that's who you are and I am your child. In Jesus' name, Amen.
