Game Changer: Empowering Daily Thought

"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!  Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.  Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. " Philippians 4:4-8

You have probably read this passage before.  It's a very common and dearly loved chunk of truth that Christians throughout history have held onto tightly for peace.  The other day, God opened my eyes to something powerful that lies within these 4 verses....and I want to give that empowering thought to you so you can keep it hidden in your heart and mind to propel you forward to victory each day.

Remember those 4 letters as they will help you to remember the daily path to victory!

P-PRAISE--Rejoice in the Lord! Praise Him because of who He is and that He is WITH you!  Yes, the God who created everything mighty and small is with and within you!  You are unstoppable because at all times, He is near you!

P-PRAY--Tell the Lord what you are concerned about each day AND then LEAVE it at His feet.  Trust that He hears you and keep your ears and heart open to listen for His leading so you can move as He leads!

G-Gratitude--Count your blessings.  It sounds ineffective but it is a powerful activity to do daily.  So many times we get "stuck" on the lack and overlook all the abundance God has given us!

G-Good Thoughts--Pay attention to what you are feeding your eyes, ears and mind!  It will make a difference. Remember, you are in a spiritual war, and you need to guard your mind against the lies, schemes and tricks of the enemy.  

Practice this P-P-G-G daily and you will live more freely as a beloved child of God!
