God's Goodness Follows You!

"Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life."

Psalm 23:6

The Lord is your Shepherd.  Psalm 23 is one of the most well known chapters in the Bible.  Both of my kids learned the whole thing in 4 year old Kindergarden.  But is it so common to our ears, that the power from this passage is being missed?

If we can truly embrace this wonderful love letter from the Lord,  then it has the power to change our life.  

God's goodness is His presence.  Everything good is in His presence, and our promise is that as a follower of Christ, His presence goes with us everywhere.  There is joy, peace, love, hope, strength, healing, relationship, wisdom, protection, provision, and everything else good.  His goodness follows us because He is with us! 

God's goodness follows us as we think on His Word!  His Word is perfect and complete, not lacking anything and it reads us as we think on it and gives us every good thing we need as we open our heart and mind to it.  

God's goodness follows us as we pursue relationship.  Pressing in as we worship the Lord, talk with Him in prayer and look and listen for Him as we go throughout our day leads us into His path of pure good.

Find new hope and joy today as you can COUNT on His goodness to always carry you throughout your day--every good thing coming down from the Father of Heavenly Lights!  Take a moment to breathe in and out deeply and find strength for today and new hope for tomorrow!
